Old Picture time...

Ok old picture time here folks! Here are a few from my former days...the first four pictures are all from the SAME location...WHERE and WHEN were these taken?
Your's truly running through the MULCH (hint hint) pit...carrying my IF Planet Cross! I took 6th that day behind Mr. Brent Bookwalter.
After the race I was an absolute popsicle. Who's over my left shoulder holding my pit bike? Who's over my right shoulder? For the record, my pitbike at that point was a Trek 930 26" mtb converted with stainless steel adaptors (hand made...) to run 700c wheels. I am OFFICIALLY the first ever 'cross racer on a 29er.
Who did I spot in I.F. colors?
Who was all smiles at the start?

Now for some serious old school...where and who are we? (I'll give you a hint...that's Robert in the maroon...)

Hope you enjoyed today's edition of old school cycling photos. Want more? I have a bunch.

Love the old photo's...that's the Chicago SuperCup, I loved that six pack section.

I think that's Jodi Koch behind you in the red jacket. She is also in the bottom photo (far right) racing at Lower Huron with you, Matt Baroli and Mike Rabe.

That photo of me (IF guy) can you name the rider behind me and the rider in front? By the way, I out sprinted the guy in front of me by half a wheel. I'll give you a hint, he also raced last years UCI race...He was not happy that I took his money home...

Actually the girl in the red jacket is my sister Shannon, but everything else was spot on. My favorite barrier section of every race I've ever done was that 6 pack. Too bad for the stupid UCI rules...

I remember there was a Richard Sachs racer that bunny hopped all 6 a few times during your race.

As for the Verge guy in front of you...absolutely no clue. Care to enlighten?

Steve Tilford was in front of me. I remember riding behind him for 3 laps as he fell virtually around every corner only to have me pass him then he would get up and pass me back. I pimped him on the finish line as he though the little green guy couldn't muster the energy to jump around him.

The other guy is Jed Schneider, who was a former collegiate National champ from Kansas.

That was one cold and slippery day...
